O2 Sensor wire on ECU Problem

Here's my problem, the Haynes manual says that the O2 sensor wire is green-yellow and goes to 2D. On my #2 harness there is a GY wire, but it does not go to 2D. (it's 2H or something) The A/F gauge is currently hooked up to the GY wire but doesn't work. Rather than experimenting, I was hoping someone could tell me which wire I want or if the A/F gauge is messed up.

Thanks.

Just run it through the firewall and to the actual O2 sensor wire, just make sure its after the little plastice harness. THats what I did and it works fine.

I'm just a bit concerned about attaching it to the shielded wire. I realize it's been spliced before, but I'd prefer not to disturb it anymore if possible.

****, I actually read that post twice today, once on the list, once through search.... Thanks for putting up with me. Question still remains, why does the Haynes say otherwise?
