PB Blaster will definitely help. Some people suggest taking a hammer and knocking the top part off leaving the large nut to remove. A breaker bar also helps in addition to a pipe to place over the breaker bar handle to add a decent amount of leverage for leverage is your best friend here. And removing it from the top is the best angle.

If you need extra leverage by using the pipe over the breaker bar handle then you'll need a fairly long extension so you have enough room to operate with and not worry about banging into something when removing the sensor.
