Ok so i need a new one, can i just go to auto zone and pic one up. I think bosch makes one for our car. Are there some out there that can not take the heat from our cars.

Yeah discount sells a universal bosch, and one specific for our cars, it's just plug and play and cost 35 bucks, the universal one has the cables with no plug and is 18 bucks.

Why does everyone on these forums go to autozone, no offense to anyone here that works at autozone but autozone sucks I work at discount, and we have a bunch of crap that they don't have.

****just plug and play and cost 35 bucks******

Just gotta be nutz to pay 35 bucks vs 18, for a simple connector. Waste not, want not.

gotta be nuts for buying cars that need constant attention (read...$$$), too...lol...BTW- I've had the Bosch unit that fits our harnesses for about 4 months now- no probs whatsoever...went from 24-25 to 25-27 mpg...

Normally local auto stores dont carry the bosch one so I bought a Borg Warner universal replacement. It takes all of 1 minutes to cut off the old connector, strip it and crimp it to the new o2 sensor.
