o2 might be bad?? help please
Ok i have the autometer AFR gauge and at first my car ran rich almost all the time. but now even at full throtel its in the stoich. do you think this is a bad o2 sensor or somthing else?
First of all, how old/ how many miles is the one in the car now? Second, you can also use a meter at the O2 sensor input at the ECU to double-check the A/F gage. Stoich should be at the .4 to .5 volt range...

Lucky SOBs. When I checked it was $20 for the "universal" sensor and $40 for the "OEM" sensor.
And right now it's not running on any, because it's not running. :-) I plan to replace it once I get things back together, though.
