o2 Censor Dystroyed!!!

Ever since the 02 Censor been damaged ive been losing alot of Gas Milage could this be because of it????

Yeah. Absolutely.

Your O2 sensor tells the ECU to dump more fuel in or lean it out.

is there any universal o2 !S!ensors that work well with the fc
? my brother has a mk3 supra turbo and a new one costs like 400 i think... and on his supra forum said he can use a 50 some odd dollars one and its just as good... figured i would check in to see if he or the forum guy were full of **** =)

O2 sensors have universal thread. You solder the wire together. I'm using a Chrysler O2 3 wire now. Just buy any 1 wire if you want to run a single wire like stock.

Yep its O2. Do what boosted said and your in business! When you fix it, the car will prolly seem faster due to running not as rich.

Considering the O2 sensor is only read during closed loop mode (during light load cruising conditions only), how would replacing it make you faster?
(it is only used under constant speed, not acceleration).

I didn't know that about the O2...is it the same way for all cars (not read during acceleration)? In that case your car won't be faster...my bad .
