So my 91 NA wont start, its not that it tries and fail its a little like this:
-I turn the key to on and all the lights come one and everything is fine
- I turn the key to start (yes with the clutch in) and bam, nothing everything goes dead
I pulled the starter and it was toast so i put in a new one, same thing.
I tested the alternator, it was fine.
I have a good battery.
What else is there?!?!?!

Did it start before? Did you remove the transmission lately? If so make sure the real thick ground wire is hooked up (either to the bell housing or the starter bolt itself). Wouldn't be the first time I've seen a poorly grounded engine not start because of poor grounding.
Way to check is get a multimeter and get under there and make sure your getting a solid 12V to the starter through the thick wire coming off the battery. Then pull the thin wire off the spade connector on the starter and hook a multimeter up to that (and a ground source). Turn the key and see if 12 V goes to that.
If 12 V gets to both wires then the problem is either your starter or your ground.. If its not getting to the thin one with the spade connector then your probably lookin at a bad ignition switch.
