A bunch of people have done it. There aren't any kits available, so you'll be on your own for piping and mounting. But it's pretty straightforward.
A search of this forum should turn up a bunch of pictures.

The NPR intercooler doesn't flow that well really for its size. From the numbers I have seen, the hot ticket for a CHEAP intercooler appears to be a Mk III Supra unit. (that's the PREVIOUS body style, not the newest ones.) It flows pretty well, has enough surface area to give good cooling performance, and isn't as restrictive on the cooling air path as most- VERY important on an RX-7!

ahhhh yes, the Supra IC is one of the best. Spearco makes replacement IC for the Supra and I think at one point was there best flowing unit to date...its mainly because the fins run North and South.....
I've heard nothing but great things from the NPR's though..I have a friend from PR and he claims thats what most run there......I think Sakura (Galant), Carlos does....However, if your going to run 7's I would guess those guys are running alcohol, so no point in an IC then....
I would be interested in seeing photos of the large or medium installed, anyone????
I have photos of my motor/FMIC setup if your interested too..

Hey, sorry I didn't respond back...Hypntyz7, do you have any photos with the hood pop'd up? I'd like to see the routing of the tubing....I'm just into putz'n around seeing what others have done
As soon as I get my new E-fan installed (old one fried out) and take this dumb clutch fan out, I'll post my FM-Spearco w/ T60-1 Turbo....My air filter is even mounted out front (via Wolf EMS) no-AFM
