Most people run 20W50, unless your in extrememly cold weather, then 10W30 would be ok. Rotaries inject oil into the combustion chamber, so synthetic oil is *usually* a no-no, since it will not burn like regular oil, but rather gum up and possibly cause problems down the road. There are some people that use a certain type of synthetic,( I belive royal purple, but not sure), but most people stick with regular oil.

I use Castrol GTX20w50
If your considering Synthetic, I suggest you search and read the arguments for and against, and make your own conclusions.

What do you guys think on the oils made for higher millage engines? Do you think that would help at all?
Anyway its 10w-30 for me in the winter and 20w-50 in the summer.

Bear in mind that the rotary engine puts out a lot of heat, and that cooling the oil is essential.
Thicker oil during the summer may not be a good idea because you want good flow. That is especially true at startup because oil must be injected into the combustion chamber. Otherwise, you could run into flooding.
The selection of 20w50 and 10w30/40 are dependent on the temperature range you're going to drive you car.
Unless you drive your rotary during the winter, (I'm not ever doing that again, once was enough, not to mention I got into a wreck), you can't really go wrong with 20w50 for Turbo2 or 10w30/40 for the N/A. Castrol GTX is the oil of choice, though any non-synthetic oil should do fine.
