not your average car "flooded" thread
well the weather over here in wisconsin was awful today... while working, it poured.. i mean poured! the streets were flooded and everything.
my car was parked facing down a hill and well the water got so high, that water poured into my exhaust.. my managers were being dicks and wouldnt let me move my car.
when i started it white smoke poured out.. and my big questions are.. is my car gonna be alrite? is there anything that i should change/check? plz help..
thanks!

Sometimes the exhaust will rust out if you let water get in it too often. Rotary exhausts are clearly hotter than others, so it will just evaporate it out. No big deal.

I'd just run it for a while. He's right, it might cause the exhaust to rust, but if the smoke and everythign goes away, you shoudl eb A-OK. People run water through their vacuum lines into their engine, so it can't be that bad.

White smoke coming out the exhaust? Pretty normal for water in the engine, yours just got in a different way.
I wouldn't worry about it at all, but I would spend 15 minutes or so screwing around at 6000 RPM, just to make sure the exhaust is all dried out.
