Not a winter stop but a minimal use... how to?

Hi there,
I don't want to stop my car for 6 months but just drive it the minimum for getting it in good shape : what should be the rythm if I drive now and then? (sunny sundays if any this winter). My drive brings me in hoods for maybe 12 km, enough to warm engine and use a bit the Turbo... Once a month or more? I want to be sure the chambers are lubbed...
Thanks for any advice!
Matthieu

Paranoia.

Don't worry about it. Parking the car for the winter will not hurt it, if you are worried about the compression, you can throw some oil in the chambers through the spark holes and turn the engine backwards to lub everything up and then don't worry about it.

If the only reason you are driving the car is to avoid storage, then just store the car instead. Proper storage is easy:

I don't know if they use salt on the roads in France during the winter, but that stuff will rust the car faster then you can imagine. After only a few years of occasional winter driving you'll start to see rust at panel seams.
