Not The Same Fuel Pump Question!!

I need a fuel pump. Today. Help.

Which is the best for the money. I need at least 50gph. The Walbro flows plenty but has a bad rep. External pumps need a fuel cell, right? Does anyone know anything about the Team FC3S Ultimate Fuel Upgrade and the pump that is included? HELP!

Only thing close is the Bosch Motorsports unit, which is like a little over $200 and needs a little custom work to be fitted in the gas tank?

Thanks Ted. Your input is always apreciated.

Anyone else? Does an external pump really require a fuel cell? Notice that I did post this in the most knowledgeable section of the forum and the one with, may I say it, the most handsome people. Someone help!?!

No. I run an external pump sumped to my stock tank, but you could simply run a pick-up tube.

Thank you very much. Can I ask how you plumbed the external pump to the tank?

Would I need to tap an AN bulkhead fitting or is there a different way that uses the stock floating assembly?

I welded a sump to the middle backside fo the tank and ran two AN bungs.

You do not need to convert to AN fittings. Every hose manufacturer makes AN-nipple fittings if you needed to anyway.

You would have to modify your existing pump set-up to work as a fuel inlet. Not too hard, I imagine. Keep the filter sock and run some steel line.
