Not flooded, so wtf is wrong?
I thought my car was flooded after moving it from one spot to another and it not starting, but i've replaced the plugs and tried the fuse trick and still nothing!
When I try cranking the engine i just hear a constant noise, not the engine rolling over. Someone told me the engine would roll over if it was flooded, but since it is not then does it mean it's not flooded. He (Advanced Auto Guy) told me to tap on the solenoid then try starting it as it is probably jammed. I am getting spark to the plugs.

Just to clarify, the engine IS NOT turning over?
It's either the starter or the engine has seized.
If it's the starter, the trick about banging the starter somtimes helps, so give it a shot.

I tapped on the solenoid and pulled the plugs and dried them as well as i could with a paper towel. And now it sounds like it wants to start, but still nothing. I spayed starting fluid in the intake system and still nothing. Could it possible be the solenoid or you think it is the plugs?

Could be plugs, but still probably flooded. In the FAQ there is a technique using AFT. Might give that a shot. Unflooding the engine might take a few tries, don't be discrouraged if it doesn't work on the first shot.

you have a flooded engine no doubt. too bad for the AT--I had the same thing but mine's a stick and I push-started it. Here is the trick--you need to rotate the engine enough to get the gas out of it, but when it is flooded that much, it takes a LOT. And you need to be careful or you will burn up a starter and kill the battery. Just keep at it, and try the ATF trick. sooner or later you will get it.
