Nose fittament

Ok I want to get the bomex kit but theyre saying the nose will be wider than the 86 and needs modification. Apprently this kit was made for the 89-91. The sides will fit prefect with the acception of buying the mold for a 89-91. Now the rear was said to fit prefectly without any modification. Bomex is saying that the nose of the 89's are alittle bit wider then the 86's. Does anyone know if this a fact or has anyone put this kit on a 86?

heres the body kit, thanx

ummmmmm I dont see an FC kit on that link......

but the bomex kit WAS designed for an S5, so your front signals are a different size, you'll need s5 ones.....as far as it being wider I am not sure.........

It will work on an S4, you had just better be good at body work, know a body man, have lots of money, or lowstandards on fitment

edit - not familiar with the GPS kit.......there's a guy in florida who just put one on........search for the thread about wing or no wing....its the same car

Of what I've seen its just a gap between the hood and front bumper. I say find a good body guy. It'll have to be molded to look good imho.

ok but what about the one on ebay the GPS style one, both these kits are my favorite so now I just need to figure out which one will fit better. Anyways, I dont think theres to many shops in VT that really know how to put a kit on but I may be wrong. All the kits I see running around here on cars in VT looks like a shitty job on installation. I wish my wife would make up her mind on moving back to California, I like it there.

the only problem that will cause is in actually driving around without breaking your bumpers/sideskirts.

Of the two I would say they both fit equally well/poorly depending on how you look at it.

Fact is they are both good kits...as far as kits go that is....but when it comes down to making any - I MEAN ANY - kit fit like it was supposed to be there you are getting involved in serious body work and fitment.

Thats why so many cheesemo's just shave everything *shudder*
