Nos!

Hey guys, I am seriously thinking about getting a NOS kit for my 90 NA. It would be a 50 shot dry system. My car has 160K miles on it, you think I can run into huge problems if I start using that?

I would use a 50 shot wet system. Dont use a dry system unless you have fuel mods already done. If your only going to use a 50 shot and no more you probally wouldn't run into any prolbems.

I was reading some forum about wet kits, they say that they can do damage to the motor since they can backfire everything back into the intake

The only difference between the two types is that the dry kit only injects NOS and a wet kit injects NOS+fuel. I wouldn't worry about it back firing into the intake, a dry system can do the same thing. As long as its set up correctly you won't have any prolbems, plus your only going to be running a 50 shot which is quite small.

The new issue of SCC mentions a new NOS brand kit for lazy people. You take your injectors out, then put in the NAWS sprayer things, and then put your injectors into the back of the NAWS sprayers. This raises your fuel rail slightly, so it comes with adapter hardware to support it. However this might not work on RX's since it's kinda cramped under the intake runner area...

I dont know if they've got a kit for RX-7's yet but this looos pretty sweet from a home mechanics point of view....

Hidden NO2

Actually, the way I see it, it's the perfect hidden NO2 system - if it's under the manifold, who'll know it's there?

Of course, if it doesn't fit, that doesn't work. Custom fuel rail, anyone?

The only problem here (and with a manifold kit) is that the AFM has no idea what you're doing. Hmmm... that would require some electronic work, and an electronically controlled NO2 kit, like Venom...

Hmmm...
