Question Normal Oil Pressure??

Hello All,

Quick question... What should the oil pressure be for an 89 TII at idle and while driving? Is the oil pressure for a N/A and a Turbo different?

Thanks,

Reverend

No higher than 75psi @ WOT and no less of 24 psi @ Idle.

Thanks for the info.

My oil pressure seems to be above 60 psi almost all the time. Do you think that the oil pressure gauge might be bad?

Also, is the oil pressure different for a N/A?

I think if you have an oil bypass (thermal) pellet the pressure stays the same all the time. So do you know if you have one?

60 psi is perfectly normal at anything above 2000 RPM.
