hey guys. i am going to be doing the auto to 5 speed swap and i was wondering if it was neccisary to get to the instrument pannels. cuz i took all that stuff off once and fixed my wipers and it SUCKED. i ended up breaking my stearing collum surround. it would stay in place w/ the screws. so i was wondering if it was neccisary to change it out.

You're going to have to remove the entire steering column to swap out the pedals.
