If you replaced the Red wire in the plug w/a wire running directly from the battery you need to be careful of bypassing the fuse for that circuit. If the original Red wire in the plug did not have constant voltage then chances are the fuse was bad. To check the fuse w/the multimeter set the meter to continuity and place one meter lead on one of the metal fuse tangs and the other meter lead on the other tang and the meter should make a ringing sound if it is good.

oh my bad, all fuses are good, the wire itself mustve been damaged while i was pulling wires for the stereo cause it was around that time i noticed the lights was gone and i also found a fuse-connector that apparently had been ripped out of its socket by me pulling a PHAT power cable through the same hole in the engine-room wall
