no spark, no idea
so i went to start my car and the battery was dead, so i hooked up cables and tried to jump start it. it just cranked over a bunch and didnt catch, so i thought it was flooded. i did the fuse procedure to unflood it, and when it still wasn't starting i realized im not getting any spark, the starter just turns over strong and it doesn't ignite. what can i do to fix this?

Earlier today a guy was late to work because of flooding.
His flooded real bad, yours could have too.
He pulled the plugs and cleaned them.
Pull the trailing plugs and the EGI fuse and crank in short pulses (4-9 seconds to save the starter and battery) for 10 bursts or so.
I'd wait for someone with experience to reply before trying it though. Don't want to get blamed for giving you bad advice.

Pull all the plugs and Clean them.and Roll the engine over with the Fuse out.(30 sec).wipe the plug hole area down,Carefully.Insert plugs and Put the wires on Correctly and Put the fuse back in.When you try to start it again,Do Not hit the gas.if you do not have success, then it could be Extremely flooded, and you will have to do the Deflooding Differently..a couple sites off the top of my head would be Kevin Lander' site, www.rotaryresurrection.com or JIM K's site which is www.rotarydynamics.ca .Look in the FAQ's for info there.Good luck to ya.
