The other day my car died while i pulled up to a light. I got out and checked the oil and it was VERY low and a little steam came out when i took off the cap. I poured some more in but it failed to start up. I checked the spark plugs and i wasnt getting any spark... does this have anything to do with having low oil or what? feels like it still has compression and all.. need some direction!!

 

AFM? When these go they dont allow spark to occur. With out any other info its hard to say. It could be a lot of things, but in my two cases of no spark, one was the AFM, and one a broken wire going to the ignition relay, however if the low oil/ steam occured at the same time as the no spark one would think they'd be related, although i dont know how. Time to crack open the Fluke
