no spark/battery ground wire is hot

Im not getting any spark from either coils. Also my ground wire gets hot.
I checked and cleaned the ground wire connections to the body and to the engine. I also cleaned the connection to the battery.

Any ideas?

Where on the ground wire is it most hot? Find the hottest part and that connection point is likely your cause.

It's hottest by the terminal. I'll strip the wire back a bit and clean up.

Also, I figured out why no spark. The alternator signal cable that goes to the dash was disconnected.
