what can cause both coils to go out and not work?? i got gas, compression, and im not getting spark when i try to take out a plug and bring it close to metal. neither coil packs works. so how can i trace that??
Damn man, your **** has just went all to hell the last few days, huh? Maybe you need a break or something, it seems to be getting worse :-(
No spark, in most of my experience, has to do with a bad afm or bad connection to the afm. Could also be the engine fuse under the hood, 40A, or a small fuse inside. Unplug the afm, crank the car, and see if it sparks.

if one of the leading plugs is completely fouled and not firing, the other one will not fire either. To test and see if you getting any spark, you can either pull the spark plug out and re-connect the wire to and see if it fires. Or take out the CAS (just make sure to mark it) and spin the CAS. When you spin the CAS, the ecu thinks the motor is spinning and will provide spark.

AFM is the air flow meter, its located under your air filter in a silver box...CAS is the Crank Angle Sensor. As you are facing the motor its on the right hand side lower front. Looks similar to a distributor with no wires.

how did you manage that one? you even spelled it differently on the duplicate one
