no power will not take throttle limp mode?
I have a 1990 n/a I have a question i have a service manual.
codes where
20 12 18
checking tps and mop, everything checks out harness no resistance.
tps 1.3k ohm idle 4.7 ohm open full and 1.2kohm idle 4.3 ohm narrow.
please see lubrication file page 19 for code 20
files found at http://www.rx7city.com/89-91manual.htm
checked mop(omp?) sensor
(Vc - E2) 1.85k
(Vo - E2) 1.7k + (Vo-Vc) 435 ohm = 2150
In inspection2 the steps were all ok except for 2150 adding the two is 150ohm over. Problem? its is over very little.
The four step I am not getting 1-4.2 volts at all but it has two yes's. I am assuming that no is replace ecu.

Well, the resistance value you measured is above the specified range (a little or a lot doesn't matter), and not having voltage on terminal 2A is going to be a bad thing. When the MOP/OMP goes it almost always takes the ECU with it, so it's not surprising that you're showing failures in both. Sounds like it's time to replace both.

most people say that there is visible damage to board when the the omp takes it out but there is no signs. the pump test out fine the resistance at 23ohms. it was the sensor that is not getting the 4volts. do you know what I would need to do a 2cycle oil conversion? Any help would be great.
Thank you
