no power until 3800 rpm
I have a '87 GXL and I just got done putting the UIM back on. While it was off, I replaced that pesky coolant hose between the firewall and the throttle body, the fuel hoses under the manifold, the UIM/LIM gasket, and a few other random things.
Now, I have hardly any power at all until 3800 rpm, and then I get full power. Power comes on like a light switch at this RPM. The car starts fine, and idles somewhat (need to do some tweaking I think). My theory is that i bumped one of the primary fuel injector clips when I had the UIM off.
Do you guys agree and think it could just be a loose primary injector plug? Could it be something else? Can I even reach these plugs without taking the UIM off again?

Honestly, any time that I have ever done anything under the UIM and second-guessed myself... I have removed the UIM and made sure everything was correct. You can never be too sure. Have you ever removed the injector plugs? Are you sure the injectors are correctly plugged? You have the OMP limb cotter-pinned? The TPS correctly mounted and positioned?
