no power after 68oo rpm
when at wot i don't seem to make any power after 6800-7000 rpm. if i don't shift before 6800 i can't scratch the tires from 1st to second. if i try and go over 7000 rpm the car seems to lose power or just not get any gas or something. it is not a stumbling kind of thing but more like a giant loss in hp. any idea's.
info on my car
short ram intake
running rich, failed emissions
borla catback exhaust (dual )
bonez superflow cat
engine has about 23k on rebuild from rotary performance rx7.com with 2mm seals
omp not working so i am premixing until i can remove it and block it off
failed hc's by about 400 without alcohol and 80 with half a gallon of denautred alcohol and meter on empty for gas

Dammit shure shot.....
Anyway... I had this same problem on my 89GTU after exhaust and intake mods... when i hit it with a wideband.. it was running DOG rich above 6000 RPM, by 6500 it was below 10AFR and thats when it fell on its face......
Slapped an SAFCII on it.. Got it back above 12 AFR (you can go leaner on an N/A, but i figered 12.5 is safe, but talk to an N/A tuner before you go any leaner, i've gone to the darkside of turbo land) and BLAMMO... back in action!!!!!

i didn't know the omp has anything to do with power???? i have been premixing so my engine is fine. the only way i could see it having andything to do with my performance it would be because it blew my motor which it did not.???????
