Help, my car has absolutely next to no acceleration after 5000rpm or so. I know my turbo's on it's way out but I wanted to make sure it's at fault for this. I've checked for intercooler piping leaks etc but none I could find. I'm going to pull my BOV out and put the stock one back in to see if it's at fault too. Any input would be appreciated.

 

is it at 5000rpms in every gear that this happens?
it does sound like a boost leak though...

Yes every gear, I'm starting to think it's my bov. Gonna go pull it now and see what happens.

 

perhaps your secondary injectors are not working?

 

Ok well I took out my new BOV and put the stock one back in. Running like 7psi or so It pulls really strong up to 6000rpm then any acceleration there is slower and shaking the vehicle(although it does get to 7k). The turbo is really high pitched just before 6k so I'm assuming these are related and the turbo is just flaking out?
