i am sorta new to rotary engines and i am looking at a
rx7 that has no power

i didnt talk to the guy for long but he sais it starts and runs but has no power and i was wondering what could be wrong with it before i get myself into something i cant fix

Cats?

Its hard to tell what "no power" means...

 

by no power does he mean the engine? as in, lacking a turbo, electrical failures, etc. ? need more info... electrical can be uber'spensive depending on what he means.

 

what year is it, it could be many things.

 

i dnt know exactly what yr it is but it is a s4

 

well like i said i didnt talk to the guy but for like 2 min because it was a friend of his car that he was going to fix but knows nothing about rotaries

 

so noone knows what my problem could be

 

How do you realistically expect me or anyone else to diagnose a car that

A: You didnt drive
B: The person you TALKED TO didnt drive
C: The guys friend drove but obviously has no clue

???

 

he sais the car starts and runs but it wont move because it has no power thats all i know

 

*sigh*....

Is it an AUTOMATIC? MANUAL?

oh yea and i forgot to say i am going to look at the car today(thursday) to talk to the guy were the car is parked to see if he has any new info on it and i will inform you then
