I am almost finished with my first prototype headlight bucket to replace the pop-ups. [Mebbe mazdaspeed7 would cover it in CF for me, for the right price, of course?; ) ] Should I take pictures? ie, is anybody interested?

I also did a custom non popping setup, and have been debating on wether or not to line the inside with CF.

Funny, I did a non popping setup also, and I too plan on lining it with CF after I put some lenses over the front. There are pics of mine on here, prolly a few pages back now.

Mine work with the stock bumper. I will sell mine without headlights so people can use what they think is best. I have 5 pieces to make and it should go pretty quickly. I want to get finished tonight. I will post pics tonight if I make good progress.

I am just doing the "box". I assume that when you say "cradling" the lights, you mean like the East Bear kit, right? Those are fiberglass and complicated and they leave the EXPENSIVE lights exposed.

I am still working out the price depending on the options I have with materials and logistics.

My inspiration was the Corvette C5-R I saw at Road Atlanta. I really liked the headlights so I went from there. Mine are kinda reversed in that they lean back more instead of standing up like the C5-R lights. I have to buy more materials tommorrow so I can't post any good pics tonight, but please be patient. I am not trying to be a tease.
