No Low-End after custom TID

I just got me new TID on last night, and I used PVC so it wouldn't collapse as easily as the last one. Now the car is really struggling with bottom end torque. I tried swapping the other back on, same thing. I tried changing angles of the MAF, same thing. It revs and sputters, and it doesn't have much power when I pull out. Any ideas what it could've done when I did the TID? I already tried adjusting the amounts of metered/unmetered air, and the variable resistor by the boost sensor. Those smoother it out just a little (unless I just made that up from being exhausted), but it's still kind of rough. What should I check?

it sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere possible you popped off a vacuum hose?

when i installed my TID i got so much more torque!!!!!! when i did a brakestand i could barely hold it

if you can't hear the leak spray some carb cleaner and see if you can find it

I can't really put the BOV back into it, but I just put a check valve on the end of it. I'm only getting about 10-12 in of vac at idle, and it hesistates alot when I rev it. I did find a vac leak, and it felt like it fixedc it, but it's still doing it, just not as bad. Yesterday I could barely drive home from work, and I couldnt pull out on a hill without revving and dumping the clutch. I don't know if it's the TID and K&N or not, but I might go back to stock and see what happens and try to narrow it down. Also, my motor mounts are going and I don't really trust this engine, so I'm sad to say it, but I might be looking to spend a few grand on an engine swap.

First off, time to ditch the check valve - I've seen MANY that weren't up to the task. Either vent the stock BOV back to the inlet duct or get an aftermarket blowoff valve - the check valve crap is most likely your problem, it's not holding and causing a vacuum leak.

You can get a brand new TurboXS blowoff valve that looks and works great for just over $100 brand new - there's no reason not to have a BOV.

how much work is it to plumb in a BOV? I didn't think it would be as easy as buying a BOV and sticking it on the hose.

you're using the white PVC? that stuff will melt! it happened to me. go get a piece of 3" exhaust pipe with a 45 degree mandrel bend. looks a lot cooler too.
