You would need to check the wiring harness behind the light switch if you have already confirmed that the dimmer is not set to off, and the fuses are good.
and I merged your threads... two or more threads on the same problem and same car and same poster are not looked upon in a positive manner.

i have the same problem, except its only my gauge cluster, and my tail lights, they work when i brake, but they dont come on when i turn my lights on, thing is, when i first turn on my head lights, they will come on (gauge cluster lights), but only for a few seconds. anyone have this problem before?

If the bulbs are not properly maintained, the wires will over heat and melt at the switch.
To fix you would need to replace the harness and the switch (and of course you should also clean all your bulb sockets).

It`s very common for second gen to have electrical problems.
believe it or not I had the same problem like you, but right after the dimmer light the position-park lights died out.
