ALL of them quit working at once? Have you checked your fuses?

You would need to check the wiring harness behind the light switch if you have already confirmed that the dimmer is not set to off, and the fuses are good.

and I merged your threads... two or more threads on the same problem and same car and same poster are not looked upon in a positive manner.

IT's either the switch (as others have suggested, and I'm inclined to believe also) or like mine was, the one wire going into the switch somehow melted a bit, and was not making good contact at all, and whenever it would shift I would get intermiittant running and gauge lights... sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't..... not something I let go too long..

That is what we mean by the switch...

If the bulbs are not properly maintained, the wires will over heat and melt at the switch.

To fix you would need to replace the harness and the switch (and of course you should also clean all your bulb sockets).

go to junk yard and get the whole plastic cluster with all the switches on it. It will be much, much cheaper and easier then checking detail by detail.
It`s very common for second gen to have electrical problems.

believe it or not I had the same problem like you, but right after the dimmer light the position-park lights died out.

I have headlight switches, but do not have any harnesses... Mazdatrix or Mazdaformance would be your best bet for the harness.

Would I be able to take it out to a shop and have them repair the harness? Or is my only option replacing it?
