No heating. What to check?

So my car does have a few minor problems for sitting for most of its life. I have no heating! so what should i check? im thinkin thermostat? AC works fine just not heating. and winter is coming up

Checking your cooling lines for leaks and such
Check electronics to see if it's actually functioning
