any one with hks springs?

sorry if this question has been asked. i searched nothing came up. i need input on the hks springs. How are they compare with the tein and intrax. I have kyb agx shocks. I am currently using intrax but is time to change them. One of them loss its tession due to long time use with blown shock on one side . now car is crooked lol. price is not an issue just perfomance and daily driving. coil overs not an option. thanks

I wasn't aware that HKS made springs. I've only seen their coilover setups.

You might want to check out Tanabe GF210's; they have a 1.5" drop and pretty stiff.

eibachs are wonderful for dd, from past experience riding in one, never drive one cept on my buddies subbie, very nice.

my rs*r are a bit harsh for relax driving, but hell of fun for spirited.

I don't think you are gonna be able to find a set of HKS springs new. They aren't listed on their site anymore and a few sets were sold off dirt cheap on ebay earlier this year through their ebay store.

i found some for about 260. thats why i wanted to get some feedback on them. i have used tein before on my sti and they were too soft. my intrax on the fc are very decent imo. tanabe seems good also i just dont have any personal experience with them nor the hks. I have always like hks as a company, most of my cars have alway have hks parts except springs. so any info will be welcome. thanks

Tanabe's GF210s are nice I had them but, Now I have Ground controls on Agx which are also nice. But seeing as you dont want Coilovers I would go with the Tanabes.

tanabe springs are great for dd use they stiffen up the care quite a bit over stock
plus u can get them shipped for like 175 but as u say money is no object so anything u get is going to be better than driving around all crooked

I'd say get them. I had HKS springs on my 240sx a long time ago and loved em. They even came with a sheet with test specs on each individual spring. They were good quality, didn't sag at all, and with a good strut (bilstien, koni) they would rock. I had them paired with AGX struts and wasn't fond of the ride, but again this was on a 240 and not a FC

yes they have them at modacar.com and at speedmachine. the hks are harder to get now since hks discontinued them. i ended up buying the rs-r racing springs not the down one. i should get them by next week. i will post the results. the hks were progressive springs and the rsr are linear like the racing beat but with much lower stance.
