Hello guys I went to start my rx7 up and today my gauges nor dash lights work. Could this be a blown fuse?

 

Yes.

 

Meter fuse for gauges. Illumination fuse for interior lights.

 

Meter lights are on but still no warning lights

 

What do you mean by warning lights? The idiot lights?

They're supposed to come on w/key to on but engine off. Do they do this or not.

 

no they dont

 

Remove the two wire plug from the back of the alternator. Ground the White/Black wire (not the Black/White, but the White/Black wire). Turn the key to on and see if they work.

And which gauge does not work, is it the gauges themselves or the gauge lights? Two different things. Clarification is needed.

 

The gauges them self and the idiot lights aren't on

 

If the gauge lights work but not the gauges then check the Meter fuse. This fuse plays a role in the idiot lights not working in addition to making the gauges work.

 

Problem solved I had a changed one of my dampers on the trunk replaced the old one and waalaa

Sorry wrong post I changed a fuse as sach mentioned and everything came on but my hatch light then I remebered I changed my stay dampers which was the wrong year so I replaced it with the original and that came back on
