No clutch pressure at all ? Whats going on here?
Well just recently i've been noticing a reduction in clutch pressure .. and tonight I jump in my car and my clutch was on the floor and still strugling to engage ???
It was running fine up until now (its been a month since I had it installed). It's a 4 puck act clutch.
So what do I need to check ?
My first inclination is that there is air in the lines?
What do I check if this is the case ... also if its not this what are other possible situations that might have caused this?
Another side problem: I have a whirling sound when I go to put the car in gear and it stops when the clutch is let off and the car is in gear.

Sounds like weak hydraulics. They may not be fully bled, or you may have sprung a leak. More common, the master cylinder (and/or slave) could be failing and losing pressure. Given the fairly cheap cost of replacements, it's a good idea to go with new ones on a car you intend to keep for a long time.
Light whining/whirring in neutral is common to the rx7 manual trannies, turbo or nonturbo. The more mileage/wear, the more noise. You may check the fluid level on the trans, or maybe change to a synthetic fluid, but other than that there isn't much of anything you can do. Many people mistakenly diagnose this as a bad throwout bearing or pilot bearing, however this is incorrect since those parts are at rest while the pedal is out. The noise is internal to the trans, a result of mildly worn gears or the input shaft bearing. It is nothing to really worry about.

hey, i just replaced the master AND slave, its really REALLY easy to do. just one little line, 4 12mm bolts, 1 10mm bolt on the firewall, and thats it! if you have the parts it might be a 2 hour job. hope that helps, oh, and i hope you are a small guy, us big guys dont tend to fit under dash's too well!

im not gynormous lol
well like i said ill bleed the lines first and then if that doesnt help then ill replace all the other crap... i just dont understand why it has no pressure at once (the clutch itself still rebounds to normal position once i let off of it ... but no pressure on the way down at all).

sounds to me like u have bad hydrolics.. I would suggest replacing both the clutch master and slave only because it seems by the time u replace one the other is weak as it is and u get better pressure form the one replacement that the other goes out shortly afterwards..

before you bleed anything, lift up the carpet on the drivers side, behind the pedals. Is it wet under there? the master's seal is on the inside of the firewall and they commonly leak fluid down under the carpet,if you just keep adding fluid and this is happening, then you will just keep pumping fluid into your carpet
also if you need to replace the master you should replace the slave too as the sleeving will be shot,i just saw a complete set on e-bay for $60 so your in luck. When i did mine not long ago i also replaced the cracked rubber line with a nice stainless braid one,a worthy $30 upgrade also available on e-bay

sounds like you have a bad seal in the system
mine did the same thing once i put a uprated clutch in
i did a write up about changing the seals - not a bad job

i had that same problem. if you have to drive it with the shitty clutch, **** at around 5k In my case it was easier for it to get out of gear, and push the clutch in fast and let it go fast. if it goes to the floor pop it out with your foot.
go to an autoparts store get a clutch master cylinder and a clutch slave cylinder. replace both. bleed lines with a friend. its not hard at all.
someone stated it above i just skimmed through posts.
