how can you tell the two apart don't know the differences. here are some pics

yep. pretty much everything is different but can be swapped between series somewhat (except electronics).

eg. s5 intakes work on s4 block, intercoolers and turbos are interchangeable...etc.

diferent plug locations,thicker rear iron casting,turbo return line is on a diferent location,upper intake mani is bigger 2,1 piece secondary fuel rail(cant removed the fpr),bigger intake elbow,higher output alternator,10 blade fan,diferent thread size coolant temp sensor(the one for the guage)boost control selenoid and a lot more

holy crap lol so pretty much completly different is just about every aspect lol. I now know thanks guys never really looked at a s4 s5 comparision so never knew they were so drastically different

they are a pound lighter(the complete assembly its lighter)and compression its the same as REW rotors

i just checked to see what kind of coolant neck it had. because the s4 has that metal one with the filler neck.
