Nitrous on a T2

I picked up a NX kit with an RPM window controller for dirt cheap. now i am still on stock turbo but thats all that is left from the stock setup. just wondering if anyone had or is running a 50 shot on a turbo car, and how they liked the results.

nitro on these cars is a big .

most people on here will recommend a meth injection system.

The trick to a rotary is to keep it at safe operating temps, which nos does not do.

Most say do not do it, but like with everything else if it is setup correctly it will be fine. Lowers your intake temps which is nice.

Strange I always though nos brings down engine temps :0, I suggest hooking it up as a sprayer on your Intercooler, safe and efficient, Use the window switch wired to turn on when secondarys turn on, and have the whole deal on a switch. So when you need to go fast and your a bit too heat-soaked to do it, you can kill the heatsoak and drop intake temps like a rock

OMG.....

Nitrous is as "safe" on a rotary as it is on any engine.

Do it properly and it'll be fine, a 50-75 dry shot isn't a huge deal.

A quick search for "nitrous" with the username "scathcart" will answer all your questions.........remeber, that search button won't bite'cha

uhh what? you realize that nitrous is really cold right, and people use it as intercooler sprayers to lower intake temps?

the only serious problem with nitrous on a turbo rotary is boost creep. It will be nearly impossible to keep boost under control without a large external wastegate (I'm talking 45+ mm). It's hard enough to control boost even without nitrous on the stock turbo and a lot of turbo upgrades.
