nipple on the block near oil filler neck...

Getting close to dropping the UIM back on but before I do there is a few things Im still trying to figure out.

Next to the oil filler neck there is a line sticking out from the top of the housing. Its to the left of the filler next and currently has a hose sticking upward. I see it doesnt reach the throttle body so Ive run out of options. Anyone know where this one goes, as I think its something that probably got eliminated but I dont want to cap it off till I know for sure.

The other thing is on the throttle body, its the plastic water thermo valve, I see that one line connects to the the other side of the TB for cold start/rinning but there is that second one that is the Vacuum one if not mistake, Is it okay to plumb it to the nipple that is on the Lower Intake Manifold that is above the oil injectors and it faces to the rear of the engine?

also this is on a 88 Turbo II

Thanks

Pics would be really helpful

The first hose should go to a hardline on the firewall that goes to the charcoal canister. Connect it back up there. Don't cap it.

The second line to tell you for sure. If its small diameter (<3mm) its probably vac, but connect it to nipple on the UIM, not the injector nipples. If its larger than that, its a coolant line and it should go to the rear iron where there is a nipple sticking straight up.

Purge Valve
It's the FC 13B version of a PCV.
It's for emissions.
