Nice bolt in aftermarket seats?

After driving my friend's RSX type S / DC5 with black leather recaros i've put more thought into replacing my worn uncomfortable seat in my FC. Would dc5 seats fit? Because that would be awesome.

What are some nice aftermarket seats that wont break the bank and will bolt in without much fab? I've read threads upon threads of how hard it is to get seats to fit in our cars because of the design and body. Thanks!

A lot depends on your height and the headroom required.
Also whether the seats must be adjustable or can be fixed.

Sliders add height as do front tilt assemblies, OEM seats (like the Recaros made for various manufacturers) tend to have thicker (i.e., more comfy) seat padding and are therefore headroom killers.

An inch in height can make all the difference with a seat.
And headroom is not the only area that's affected...stuff like the door armrest, the center console, pedals and the steering wheel are the other hardpoints that seat position relates to.

Yea i had came across some cheap racing seats from a parts car they sat me up like 2 inches and were very uncomfortable. My recaros went back in asap.

Could always source a set of factory mazda Infini III/IV seats. Race look with OEM fit. Ive had the pleasure of sitting in one (not in the car) and I loved it. Unfortunately, the price for a good set is not the best.

I have Recaro DC2 or DC5 (can't remember what style) seats in my FC. I had to make custom rails as the rail mounts are about three inches narrower than stock. I'm sure you could fab an adapter to run stock rails. I love mine. Best seats I have had in any of my cars. It does make it harder to find things that fall in between the seat and center console though.

I have DC5s in my FC. You have to make custom rails or an adapter to run stock rails as the mounting place on the seat bottom is about three inches narrower. Wonderful seats though.
