Thats a dead link for me :/ But I didn't even know they made widbands. Is it just a Wideband O2 sensor? Or is it the controller and gauge kit (or something to monitor the A/F with)

i got the ngk afx and it works awesome! the only thing is the display, it's about the size of a pack of cigarrettes so it's hard to find a clean place to mount to. but just wait till i have mine mounted, i'll post pics soon. i have to say the kit is great quality though. nice harness and connectors, compared to others like innovate. the ngk harness is wrapped in expandable loom. the O2 sensor itself is also supposedly more accurate than bosch. it's also cheaper than AEM.

14.7:1 is for best gas milage
and 12,5:1 for noice performance

so where is the problem?

How did you get the auto timer (thats the small tiny lil timer right?) to work with the wideband o2 sensor?? I have one of those timers also.

Have you tried mounting it on top of the steering column? I think it would look pretty good mounted right there.. and it would be in plain sight for you

Yeah, you don't need it for everyday driving anyway... I'd just tuck it away someplace like the glovebox and only use it during tuning and stuff.

in a wideband the bars and numbers are both the same in acuracy and if u are doing a hard pull and what to see your a/f's it is easier to look up at the lights quickly to see if u are rich, lean or stoich then to read numbers...

I know around here even on the highway if u are doing a pull for street performance u need to keep an eye for police and other drivers on the road a quick glace for color is easier then having to READ a set of numbers

btw I think if u are boosting, tuning or anything other then stock u need the wideband visible at all time cause it can tell u when u are having probems before its to late..

clogged injector
fuel pump dieing
temp changes and density in air effects af's and egt's
etc
