IL NGK plugs and wires or other?

Looking to get new spark plugs and wires for my TII but want to see what kind you guys are using on your TII's. Right now I am probably gonna get NGK wires and NGK platinum plugs. Any other suggestions?

Yeah no doubt that the Ultra wires are gonna be good but not at that price especially since Im a broke college student. The NGK wires Im looking at are like 25 and the plugs 30. Probably gonna do that since its what I got for the s4 vert and they seem great. Got some magnecor wires on my TII now but they are like 3 years old so dont know if I can trust them or not. Better just get all new

I also saw some good wires on mazdatrix for like $50, they said they are fantastic wires and the 8.5mm ones are rated to 600 deg F. But just as J5Sense said, it really is hard to beat the stock ngk wires. Mazdatrix also carries these.

I was gonna say that but I thought everybody knew that. I buy Mazda OE plugs and wires and have no problems at all. I work at a mazda dealer so its not that expensive for me.

Yes we all know that the Oem wires/plugs exist but I just wanted to see if there might be something better out there that I don't know about yet. Although I probably am just going to go with the oem ngk. The ngk is good and not too pricey. Its what I've been using but I just recently got this s5 t2 and the po put magnecor wires on it. Just want to see what everyone is using on their turbo 7s. Thanks for the input

I always use the cut your own wire v8 kits. I've used both accel and msd with success and make two sets for less than the price of one performance line pre cut.

the originals are made by yazaki. the wires are black. NGK supplies the replacement wire set, but you used to be able to order the yazaki wire individually.

the car in the attachment has a new set of the yazaki's

I just got a set of Beldon wires from Napa.
http://www.napabelden.com/

They were only $16 and they came with dielectric grease and ribbed plastic wire wrap. I think they are just re-branded NGK wires because they look exactly like the OE wires I replaced with them.

They also come with a lifetime warranty... I dunno, but that sounded like a sweet deal to me lol. I have only had them for a few days but they fixed my intermittent sparking issue right away.

The NAPA Belden wires are now made by Standard Motors Products. Those are 7mm high resistance carbon/graphite core wires. They are you basic budget replacement spark plug wire set - with a nice warranty.

Nothing wrong with that, but a better or high performance spark plug wire set would feature a low resistance spiral wound core that allows more energy to reach the spark plug, such as ACCEL, Bosch, MSD, NGK etc...
