Conquest? I drove a conquest this summer, thinking it may replace my Rx7. After driving it, there's no way in hell I'd even put it in the same class. Maybe with some mods (alot from the way it felt) it could be on the same level, but it seems like a stretch

My personal 2nd favorite car is the Ferarri F355 GTS (listen to the engine once and you'll fall in love...even IF you're deaf!). After that then it's a hard list of 3rd place cars...Dodge Viper, Nissan Silvia, Jaguar XJ220, Lotus Elise 111S, Vauxhaul Astra Coupe, etc...

I have varying tastes...

For those who said FD, I do believe the FD is an RX-7, and he asked "Other than an RX-7"

Think a lil bit

Once my 240 was gone the only other cars I considered were the MR2 (SW20), RX-7, and GSX. So yea, IMO I hold those cars to be in the same class.

Actually a properly maintained one is far more fun to drive than a TurboII. Too bad they spin bearings a bit and have crappy heads. My conquest is my favorite car that I've ever driven, and I've driven many many cars. Just something about it.. it certainly isn't fast but I don't care that much about having a fast car these days.

Yes. And I did think about that before I wrote FD. See, this is in the "2nd gen specific" forum and really is kind of off topic. So I took "rx-7" in the 2nd gen forum to mean an FC in particular.

hmm... either the sube (mmmn.. I'll have mine sideways with dirt please... ) or a S13 240, or a 930 turbo intercooled...

Yes, I plan on owning ALL of them at one time... ok, so I may just go with a WRX STI, S13, 930 intercooled, and about 3 2nd Gen RX-7s, hell throw in a 1st gen RX-7 for the hell of it.. (with a 12a turbo )

My girlfriend. But she's a CLOSE second! Well, technically she's a Japanese import...

Steve

P.S. I'd like to do a Silvia conversion sometime, so maybe that.

They're pretty zippy for a refridgerator on four wheels.

My vote would be the MR-S, since I haven't driven/ridden in much else to give an honest opinion. The RSX Type-S felt too much like my Mom's Civic.
