Newest Problem.

Gauges in car dont work, sun roof not opening, wipers only work on the I setting.

I have a thing about relays for the wipers.

What do you think about the gauges and wipers?

Thanks in advance.

pull off the gauge cluster to check the connections in the back. None of them work? I would assume the speedo still works.

Well the gas gauge, temp, oil arent working... Seems like the tach, speedo and volt gauges are. I ran outta gas last week because of that gauge.

The temp stays in the same spot all the time unless the car is off.
Gas doesnt go anywhere its on full now and staying.

Do you think it may be the cluster itself?

The wires are off the sending units. Reinstall the wires on the oil and water sensors.

METER fuse feeds the instrument cluster. Ain't that because your tach and volt gauge works.

It's unclear what you said about the fuel gauge. It sounds like it's pegged out at the top of the gauge all the time. Is that right?

If the wires are on the oil and water senders, then take the oil wire and put it to ground. Like hold the metal part of that wire to the block and have someone look at the oil gauge at the same time. The gauge should rise up when that wire is put to the block IF the gauge is any good and if the plugs are on the back of the combination meter. Do not hold that wire to the block too long, because if the gauge rises to the top and pegges out for any length of time, the gauge gets runined forever.

Is this some type of hybrid RX? Like a turbo motor in a non turbo car or something similar?

If the gas gauge stays pegged at the top with the key off, then I'd say that gauge has been ruined. IF it stays pegged at the top just with the key to ON, then disconnect the fuel pump plug and see if it will go down with the fuel pump plug off. If it now goes down, then the sender in the tank is kaput. Also see if someone has installed a aftermarket pump and ruined the wiring at the tank.
