I wish I was driving!
for the second gen's, only the TII comes with a turbo charger. TII does not mean twin turbo's' this is a common misconception. In japan, some first gens had turbo's, and the TII has the second generation of RX7 single turbo's.
Second Gen Turbo II's had the second gen of turbo's, not two turbos

allgameracer,
Yep, the TII is the only OEM SUPERCAR and the NAs are fast sports cars.
The TII is more like the sequal to the TI found in the 1st GENS I believe. It's a twin scroll single turbo. BTW - Rotarys take better to turbos than piston engines. Like a shot of torque
New to rx7s?

The twin scroll turbo on the TII feels very much like a twin turbo when you drive the car. It is basically a lower-maintenance and lower-cost way to get the feel of a twin turbo.
I would also like to point out that the 1988 10th Anniversary RX-7 was also turbocharged. It was basically a decked-out TurboII, but was manufactured and sold as a separate model, as there were also regular TurboII cars sold that year.
