Arrow my car is a piece os SH*T!!!!

I bought an 87 rex GXL last month and its been nothin but problems... it didnt run when i bought it(leaky fuel injectors) so i did a ATF trick and boom it started right up ran great an i drove it home. Once home i put a fuel cut off switch on it and it worked. But now my car wont start and smells like gas really bad. I think one of the primary injectors might be stuck open but i have no clue. Or the motor could just be blown(but it ran great on the way home) it has 181,000K on it. but i dont think its the original motor cuz these only last bout 120,000K tops. I also tried the ATF trick again but it dont work. Like its starts for a couple secs then just dies(wont idle). WTF???? so whats wrong with my car cuz i have no clue. Any ideas i would greatly appreciate. I havent done a compression test either cuz i really dont have the time or the money to tow it up to mazda. Thanks for the help, dave

Check your AFM in the airbox...If it isnt hooked up, the car will start then die. Make sure the whole air intake system is hooked up.

Mine dies after a couple of secs too if I don't turn the fuel cut swithc on! Just for info's sake 120,000K would be 120,000,000 miles. What's the problem?

1. Open hood
2. Pull both fuses labeled EGI (top red and green)
3. Crank for 1 min (should sound like its going to fire, but never actually start)
4. Put fuses back in
5. Start as normal
6. Repeat 1-5 as necessary

Try this, itll take 1 minute
