Check the internet pricing sites like NADA.com and KBB.com for reference prices.
For the best deals, cruise around looking for private cars for sale.
I found mine parked in a driveway with no sign, but with hundreds of spider webs under it.

i would go for the 87-88 TII, yeah the 89-91 RX-7s have a whole 15 hp(wow) but they weigh like 300 more lbs. i have an 88 and my friend has a 90. i beat him every time we race. we both have intake and straight pipe. i say if youre all about looks get a 89-91 but if you want performance get a 87-88.

my friend hit high 13's in his crx/b16a. but he had it gutted down to 1750lbs dry weight. those things just dont get traction when they are that light. nevermind the open diff. the power/weight (about 1hp/10lb about as good as an ls1 vette!!) ratio of that setup is probobly good for low 13's if you can get it to hook up just right.
