Newbie Questions-what do you recommend?

So I recently purchased my FC and am starting out with some suspension upgrades. So first off 18's or 17's? Will I notice a difference in ride? And sizes would be something like 17x7 235/40 in front and 17x8 255/40 in back? At what rim width do I have to worry about rolling my fenders? can 18x8 fit in the front?

Any suggestions as far as springs? Do the RB springs actually have a lower spring rate in the rear than the stock springs? If so is that better. I don't really need something super stiff, i do occasional autocrosses but anything is going to be better than stock anyway. Thanks a lot for your help.

dont go bigger than 17s. I think it gets uglier,a nd I heard performance goes downhill with anything bigger than 17

Get 17's. Most 18's just look bad on FC's. I admit some do look good, but they are very expensive. I think 255s might be stretching it a little, but not sure.

i belive u can run 225 tires up front and 245 in the back , but offset and rim width will affect that!.

well ive had FC's with 14" 15" 16" and 18" rims

and id say with 18" rims theres no side wall flex at all and it was very noticable while corning vs the stock 14" fone dials.... however i feel 18" was over kill and they were a bit toooo big and heavy...

id recomend 17" being the largest size for practicality
16-17" is perfect size, as for width 7"-8" is probably fine for a NA
