Newbie with question about a mystery connection

Hi all! I am glad to find such a great resource for my newly aquired 89 TII. I picked it up last week and bled the brakes and clutch. Changed the oil and filters, etc. I ran across this unconnected thingy and am wondering if anyone knew what it was and where it connects to:

I also have a bent rim which I found out about after getting new tires. Anyone know where I can pick one up like this:

Thanks for the help and I am glad to be a part of this RX7 sickness...

The top one is used to smooth out the oil pressure readings, just bolt it down to any ground source and you'll be OK. As for the rim, ask in the for sale section.

yup, it should be bolted to the lower slave cylinder mounting bolt, be sure both mating surfaces are clean so it makes good contact.

as for the wheel, you can try a wrecker or ebay or the FS section of these forums.

look under the oil filter pedestal you will see a round cylinder, that is the oil pressure sensor. There should be a little wire going to the end of that sucker, if there isn't find it and clip it back on. Alot of times those things fall of.
