Newbie needing HeLp!!!!!
I need to know how to adjust the Idle speed on a 1987 n/a because there is a tendancy of this car to idle down quite a bit to the point where it dies---approx 6-500 rpm's i'm just looking to boost it up to the normal 750-800 range-(CORRECT?????) and i just purchased this car for 800 bucks! body is in damn near perfect condition so i got a steal!!! anyway help would be appriciated. thanks much. please e-mail me at marlaman@hotmail.com thanks again

After you pull the rubber and screw......you could download the factory manual from http://www.iluvmyrx7.com You'll find the manual under *technical*. Its an 88 but will serve you just as well. You might elect to just download the section 4A that deals with the intake and setting the idle. Its FREE!

I have one for a '93 and I'm going to download the one for the '88, but neither do me much good.
