Hi all. I'm new here and I did some research but still don't understand few things. What's difference between 1986-1987 and 1988-1991? And what's S4 and S5? I found some picture about S4 and S5 but I don't know what's difference between those two.

Well its more like the 86-88...86-88 is called the s4 or Series 4 RX-7, 89-91 is s5 or Series 5.
The s4 model has a few different exterior, interior features then the s5, the most noticable difference is the tail lights. s5 will have more a bit more hp and different wheels.
As far a technical differences I cant think of too many...some experts here will probably know better then I
