Newb needs help selecting new turbo...

Ok guys, my exhaust manifold is cracked, so I decided that I was going to order the HKS cast manifold and get a new turbo. I'm new to turbos and stuff though, as my TII is my first turbo vehicle. I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction as to what size/trim (?) to get and where I could get one from? If I'm not mistaken, the HKS manifold fits T04 turbos right? I have no idea what kind of turbo to get though.
I don't want too much power. Something that'll spool quick and good for everyday driving. I hope for around 300 whp when I'm done with everything, and I'm planning on upgrading the injectors and using the E-Manage I recently bought to tune it. I just want it to be efficient and capable of around 300 horses. I'll be doing all the bolt-ons and stuff by the end of the summer.
Also, does anyone know where I can find vacuum hoses, becuase when I pulled my motor, alot of the were hardened and broke. I cut alot of lines and hoses because I began to get frustrated (even the fuel lines, I dunno if this is bad or not...), so I figured to just replace all the lines and everything.
Thanks in advance.

you can check out http://www.rx7store.net for the BNR Hybrid turbo upgrades, they are a common favorite here.

Make sure in addition to injectors, you get an upgraded fuel pump, and probably a Front Mount Intercooler to stay safe.

As for vacuum hoses, you could always try a local autoparts store.

He said his manifold was cracked and that he was going with a new cast HKS manifold. A BNR is not an option, in this case.

I'm looking for the same info man, but from what I've read, the GT35R ball-bearing turbos spool quick and are good for around 300-350hp. Sounds good to me!

^^more like 400^^

The HKS log style will have a T4 flange, anything with a T4 flange on the hotside will bolt to it

If you are looking for ONLY 300 though, you don't need to spend the $$$$$ for a full upgrade, a hybrid will net those figures on its day off

As far as vac lines go - everywhere....autozone, all those places....vibrant makes some nice silicone stuff

edit: even though your stock manifold is cracked, you can get another factory one for CHEAAAAAP as opposed to...what....500 dollars for the HKS? and that would allow you to run a hybrid...with which you could net easily 300-325 all day long....I'd recommend a front mount for sure though along with the mentioned/necessary fuel mods
