Newb In Need Of Answers
Hi, I'm new to rotary's ,I have barely any knowledge about them. My fathers friend is giving me a FC 86' rx7 N/A i dunno what model it is yet but we will be picking it up this week. I plan to work on the engine first, I want to boost it, but ppl told me that theres more than bolt ons involved, and at every 100,000 u have to replace something. What is it that u have to do wen to boost this FC?

He knows it's N/A, hes wanting to put a turbo/super onto it. I wouldn't suggest it unless you have a large knowledge of rotaries. Just be happy with your N/A and make sure it runs good. When the engine blows, get a large streetport (or bridgeport) and throw on some other goodies. That'll get you into the stock TII range.

I know plent about Honda motors, but thats way different from the rotaries. The car my dads friend has told me i think has high mileage so im thinking of doing extensive modding to this FC, I'm really thinking of making this into a drifer. But i want to get maximum power. Boosting it, so in order to boost this I'd have to get a new motor? wats the diff between the N/A 13b's and Turboed 13b's?

Read the FAQ and What did my car come with, they're stickies.
You don't HAVE to get a new motor. It would probably just be easier to buy a TII and sell your N/A.
